Assistant Coach Dianne Davidson begins her first
season as the Assistant Coach for the Orlando Wahoos. "It's exciting
to be a part of the Women's Pro Fastpitch league," said Davidson. "I'm
sure 1998 will be a successful season with Sharron Backus at the helm and
the combination of returning and new players."
Davidson is the current Assistant Athletic
Director and Head Softball Coach at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando.
Davidson was a former catcher for the Orlando Rebels ('71-'76). During her
career with the Rebels the team went 277-88 (.759) finishing first three
times in the ASA Women's National Tournament and Southern Regional Tournament.
