Speakers Bureau
The Orlando Wahoos players, coaches, mascot, and staff are available to
visit your group's next meeting or social function. We would love to tell
you more about our programs, including how you can become involved individually
or as a group. Specific topics can be addressed (motivational, instructional,
etc.) based on availability of speakers. Contact the Wahoos office today,
opportunities are limited.
Summer Reading Program
With the help of AT&T Wireless
Services and The Orlando Sentinel's Newspapers in Education Program the
Orlando Wahoos are proud to invite all kids to "Swim with the Smart
Fish". Every child who reads four books over the summer will receive
a free ticket to a Wahoos regular season home game. Just pick up a special
bookmark from the Wahoos office or the Winter Park library and have a librarian,
teacher, or parent initial the back every time you read a book. Completed
bookmarks can be redeemed for a $5.00 general admission ticket at the Orlando
Wahoos office or the Stadium ticket office (day of game). Only one completed
bookmark per child per game is permitted.
Ticket Request Program
As a part of our community affairs
efforts, the Orlando Wahoos would like to host qualifying non-profit and
other deserving organizations at the ballpark. The Ticket Request Program
allows groups to attend select Wahoos games at no cost. Tickets will be
granted based on need and at the discretion of Orlando Wahoos officials.
If the demand for tickets exceeds the supply, a lottery system will be used
to select groups who will participate.
"Have a Seat on Us" Program
The Orlando Wahoos "Have a
Seat on Us" sponsored seating program allows deserving organizations
to attend select Wahoos game(s) as the guests of responsible and generous
business sponsors. These sponsors purchase blocks of tickets, which are
then donated, to groups and organizations in the community. Contact the
Orlando Wahoos office if you would like to participate in this program as
either a recipient or a donor. |
